Stooooopid fisho!
Hi all
Fished of the rocks at 1770 on Wednesday and couldn't believe what I saw.
Someone had caght a longtail tuna (northern blue?) of around 10-12 kilos from the rocks and just tossed it up on the ledge to rot.
The place stank and it sure doesn't do the rest of us any favours when people do these wasteful and selfish acts.
As it turned out, we didn't spin up any fish ourselves, but we did see some schools a long way out. Will have to go back and put a bit more time in to see if I can't get a decent fish myself.
One thing for sure however, I won't be leaving it on the rocks to stink the place up.
Cheers

Shame, they are an awesome fish to catch. There first run is blistering, hang on. Big waste, they are pretty good to eat as well.
Good luck hunting one down, well worth the effort

Makes you wonder what some people are thinking  seen evidence of the same thing over here during the Salmon run, i doubt that if i actually saw someone do that i"d be able to keep me gob shut

No point in doing that.If you're not going to eat it or use it for bait then it may as well swim away:(.Makes you wonder about some people.
