Geez, I reckon that we must be making these Southerners a bit jealous of our North Queensland fishing recently. When one of us is catching marlin the others are catching barra like that...How much better can it get!!
Nice job guys, those fish are alsolute rippers & what a great way to finish the season!!
I've never actually fished for barra over at the Cape as whenever the weather is good I'm always heading past it in the bigger boat. Mum & Dad use to launch down at Phantom Retreat & shoot across & always use to do very well!!
I might have to get over there one of these days..............How nice & clean does the water look!!

Thanks for the kind words. Had a ball out there that day, pitty I could stay and nail a few more. I really beleive there were more fish to be had but ran out of time and had to go to work!!!
T, any off the rocky headlands around tvl will fish the same, palleranda and maggie and up your way near home along the rocky heads near Toomulla.
We will have to go for a session soon when the season openes again.
