Fitzy threads

Been a while between posts and about twice as long between fishing trips, Had a few quick scoots out in the fitzroy in the middle of town with the rest of the hoards of boats chasing threadfin. They have been thick for the past month some of the schools are couple hundred fish strong. The average size caught would be close to the meter with fish ranging from 900-1200 landed, judging by the sounder there's definitely bigger in there. All fish were caught on vibes. Good fish Lou, water certainly looks a whole lot cleaner than it was when Pete and I were there.

There is plenty of good size king getting around just avoid the packs of boats. This fish came from a meter high ledge in eight meters of water, released very well also which kind of surprised me.

cracker fish lou top stuff you said avoid the traffic ,is there a fair few now coming up to fish the area now or is local people

Al there seems to be a lot of boats I haven't seen before, the treadies schools have started to diaperse a little. I'm leaning towards it's a pressure response, most of the big king seem to be down river
