let me know if you need a map mate. can be a bit tricky to get into JL, unless you cross the bar, which can be very dodgy

Chris,
Myra is pretty good - mouth of Kolan. I have got jacks and 1 barra there. In saying that, roumer has it the pros have netted a fair few barra at the mouth.
Winfield..is just the baffle, but on the other side. I would be keen to get up to baffle again for a good explore. Its been a bogey for me, just cant seem to catch anything. Plenty of good fish in there though. I would be keen to also try jenny lind, Middle creek etc north of 1770. Have a look at your google. I cant remember the name of the creek, but its north of 1770, bit rough getting in, has a ramp...then you boat to the mouth area to camp...I think its middle ck???, I would have to check.
Turkey beach is another...good crabbage there.
Cheers Stavros
Thanks Steve .... I'm just looking for some waters a little bit closer to home to get away to between trips further afield ...... if you know what I mean
Sounds like you're up for a bit of exploring too :83: ....... no doubt we'll chat about it next weekend .
Cheers
Chris
yea thats it Steve..Middle creek, and Eurimbula is closer to 1770 but no crabbing allowed. Last i heard the track was pretty rough in. You can also still lauch at Winfield or Boaga on the Baffle and go camp at the mouth under the she Oaks..Its pretty nice there.
