Hey guy.
Sorry I have been a bit quite on here of late. To busy working and fishing ;)
Well since we are well and truly into winter I have personally found that the fishing has slowed down. We are just not seeing as many bream as what we did in summer months.
With the bream going deep and spawning this makes things more of a challenge for us. You have to try and find them, and then the hard part getting them to eat your lure.
Look at it from my prospective. If you had the options of loving chicks all day or eating food, what would you do?
This was by far the best weather, I had been out in all winter.

And the fishing wasn’t bad either ;)

Although we had a bad day on the bream, we still managed to find a few.

Normally I find myself fishing a Friday by myself. Every one else has work or is at school. So I seem to have the water to myself.

But when I can find someone to fish with it makes things more enjoyable, and someone can take pics for you

In the last couple of weeks we have had a lot of rain, so instead of the fishing we did the next best thing.

But most of the time we will go for a fish rain hail or shine.

In my last two sessions we have been getting a heap of bream on the pylons in the marinas. Most of the bream have been coming on the new zipbait metal beats, and ecogear vx35’s.
With all the fresh water on top, we have found ourselves fishing the bottom with the vibs. We have just been dropping them down the pylon watching for the line to stop, to see if a bream has picked it up on the drop. If not we will just slightly twitch the lure on the bottom for a good 1-3mins, then slowly work it back up.

And the worst part of the day, the train ride home.
