Six of the best
Hi there,Arrived home from Burrum heads Wednesday night.Spent thursday, friday catching up on jobs around the house and unpacking and decided to go fishing Sat.
Drove up to Swansea and was on the water about 6 am.Started out at the heads looking for a salmon or two for a bit of fun.Landed two around a couple of kilos each.
Moved further up the channel to my favourite flathead location.Flicked a few lures around for a half hour or so for no joy so decided to continue up the channel and try for a feed of bream and whiting.
Using blood worms for bait,a steady stream of small bream and the odd stingray were caught and released.Slowly I began to accumulate a few decent fish mixed in with the undersized ones and kept six of the best for a couple of meals.
