Russel-Mulgrave, any ideas?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has a few tips for the Russel-Mulgrave system up here in the north. I've lived here in Cairns for almost two years now and have yet to try it. Mainly like to target Barra and Jacks but anything that hits a lure is on the list so to speak. I intend to put the boat in at Deeral and work toward the mouth with the run out tide. This way I can take my time and suss out the sand banks I have heard about.

Anyway, heading out tomorrow but keen to hear from anyone with ideas and happy to meet up with likeminded fishos.
