    Default Tuskfish for Tea

Finally the winds have eased, so I slipped down today for a quick fish on the turn of the tide. Kept this one for tea. Never eaten one before, but supposed to be pretty good on the plate from what I've read. My 3 year old daughter took the photo.

    Cheers,
    Roo.

Yeah, thats what I've heard. Got him in the BBQ now. Just enjoying a coldie while he's cooking.

    Cheers,

    Tuskie and fingermark, Yum.
Roo, I've found them to be one of the best keeping fish as well in the freezer.
Speaking of fingermark, we didn't get any last night before we had to hightail it home before the storms hit. Got a boatload of sharks though. They were coming in with hook holes in them from a few minutes before.

Yeah, I got a bit caught out the other day with the tide going one way and a strong wind blowing the other. Waves were standing up which is never good.

Good day fishing earlier on though, just should have left for home earlier.

    Cheers,
    Roo.
