Pete and I decided to have a small fish at redcliffe this morning arrived at the ramp 5.30 am straight in the water no waiting could not belive it hardly any boats around went out and sat on one of my marks and butlies up put a few baits out to soak and chuck a few placcie around after about 10 minutes had the first hook up of the day but he dropped it after the first run, twenty minutes later i hook a good snapper on plastics then my bait rod goes off so i hand that to pete and i play me fish on 8lb braid the mobgrel got me back to the reef and cut me off but pete had better luck and go my other fish to the back of the boat and we netter a nice 50cm snapper , I had another hook up and a good run bit latter but it also dropped the hook on me, all in all a nice morning on the bay with good company
