    Default Stop ya whingin'

I was having a whinge to Rob on Thursday that a decent size Flattie has eluded me, plenty of the fun size but the big girls, nup.

Went out for a solo on Saturday morning, just around the corner from where we r staying at the moment being between houses and found a few in the 40's that came home for lunch.
Working around the weed edges and up in the shallows I got a gentle tap followed by another, let the Squidgie rest for a sec then a good strong run. Saw a white flash in the water thought great a bloody ray. She came up into view, backed the drag off just as she saw the boat and bolted.
Shakey hands slipped the net under a lovely 86cm lizzard, quick bolt back around the corner to show the family and get some pics then we sent her on her way.

Good work pete!! I am in the same boat you were, plenty up to that 40 mark but no big mummas, which are all well and good on 4lb but I love a challenge, and I love giving them a fighting chance hehe
Glad to see ya got one mate, first of many I hope!

Big lizard and good handling techniques for its release...

You gotta bring that boat to Mondy - it attracts monsters!
