Had a decent sleep in this morn and headed out to check on the water quality. Threw a few rods in the car anyway and bumped into bryan on my way to the spot. we had a few throws around for awhile till bryan hooked up to a nice golden of around 50 - 53cm. I was trying a few different things and I came up tight to a nice little calecale couple more casts and another popped up then they disappeared. Then the rains started so bryan left to do what he had to do and I went to the local to stock up on a few things ( ugh ohh $$$ ).


Came back for a quick throw and came up tight to two fish in two casts another cale and a arm stretching Golden. My biggest so far I gave my rod a quick measure when I got home and I am guessing around the 62 - 64 and around the 3kg range very solid fish. Gave me a real good run for my money!


Anyway I will shut up here is a couple pics... I am sure Bryan wants his picture up of his golden but its a little revealing..
