Thats more like it!!!

Had family friends up from Coraki and decided to take him for a fish Saturday morning. He is about 6ft2 and looked funny in the little 8ft Yak. We were up at 4am (sleep in for me) and fishing by 4:30. Tried under the Pelican Waters bridge for about an hour and a half but no good other than a couple of half hearted taps. Plenty of bait fish getting worked over but......

Decided to head down to the Bells Creek beacons and peppered the last beacon but nothing there. So we tied on some weedles rigs and drifted over the weedbeds. The next couple of hrs saw 6 flattys boated all just on the top of the tide in about 2ft of water. 3 we kept for dinner. A beautiful morning in the Pummy passage. I am guessing it was a pretty nice day far and wide across the east coast and hope you all got onto some!!
