Yep, I was about to saythe same thing.
Its a whole new set of rules once you cross the border. Make sure you check up on all regs and get a fishing licence before you wet a line.
The latest one I nearly got done for was - if you are fishing solo in a boat under 4.8m you need to be wearing a lifejacket. Maritime let me off with a warning as my boat is 4.75m!
Great place Yamba, so much water and likely spots it takes a while to work out.
Cheers,
Matt
Some nice fish caught there Ben. Good on ya mate. Ya done well.

good fish and good effort there Ben. Love the underwater shots.
I go fishing not to find myself but to lose myself...
Good work Ben.
My mate got done about 25 year back throwing a cast net at Romiaka. A fisheries officer drove past at the time and nabbed us.
It was my net but my mate got charged cos he was throwing it. They let us keep the net and the poddies we had in our bucket which we turned into some nice flathead fillets. lol
He didn't make an appearance at court but was fined $20 which we split.
Those were the days, young and dumb!
