    Talking "Turnin Ginga's"

    Hi all,
Well after Azza's Effort yesterday,we were at it again this afternoon,to see
if I could turn my first Ginga for the season aswell.
Hit the local again just after 2pm today. Fishing the usual area's jacks haunt,it didnt take long and i had my first Jack for the 12/13 season. Only small
at 33cm but hey, I was off the mark!!
Over the next couple hours I managed 3 more between 34-38cm, while Az was
unable to replicate his efforts from the day before, with only a few half hearted bumps for the afternoon. (He's bloody handy on the net tho!!!)
Oh there was a nice flatty pulled in amongst the jacks aswell!!
Surely things can only get better, with results like this so early in the season!
All Caught on placs and all released!!
    Cheers
    Jason

Great effort in showing Aaron your just as good at retrieving those Red fish from their snags Jase.

I haven't yet had the time to chase 'em and more so willing for the weather to get a little warmer, as you mentioned, it'll only get better.

    Cheers Dave

I've noticed you've been getting onto a few Keith, have they started to push into your local, in more numbers of late and how's the water clearity down your way?

I don't know where Jason and Aaron have been fishing for these Jacks, I have sneaky feeling a couple of river systems north of where I usually would hunt for 'em as the water clearity in their pictures isn't as clear as the systems on the southern end of the coast at the moment.

Great to see some red ones showing up again though, it'd be interesting to see how well this season fishes due to the above normal dry spell we are experiencing. 2009 was probably the last time we had such a dry spell leading up to summer before the floods of 2010.

    Cheers Dave
