    congrats on the pb that fish was one of my nemisis for years till last couple ,they are great fun to hookup on wish a barra had his attitude too

    I've been poking along on little fellas for a while, so yeah, nice to put one in the landing net. At the moment up here, it seems like if you're catching bait where you're fishing- go big or go home! Live, well presented, and placed as close to the snag/feature/gutter/hole as you can get it. Sounds obvious... but lately it's absolutely the difference between dirtying up your measure mat, or not!

    I've a terrible success rate with lures.. but would like to skittle a few on SPs this season.... and that Barra's still giving me the swerve too!

    Nice jack. they are a buzz to catch on light gear and small lures. Was having success up Karratha on shallow divers draged over a shallow rock bar and a couple of good tugs on the line once the lure came over the drop off. Hits most times. They liked the smaller hollow bellies doing the same thing but letting them sink as it came over the drop off.
    Finally got one
