Default 2 nice Jacks on the Bream Gear

Well I must thanks the b@stard dog across the road which barks every morning from 5am continuously until I leave for work in the morning. This thing barks flat out and has done so for months.

Well instead of trying to get back to sleep, I decided to head to work early and was actually at work at 545am this morning and finished early as a result. Ended up finishing at 2pm which was a perfect amount of time for an arvo fish at my sweet spot.

Ended up with 2 tiny grunter, 2 descent bream around the 31cm mark and 2 lovely Jack which measured 41cm and 43cm respectively. All fish were caught on a 2-4kg starlo stix tournament pro, stradic Ci4 2500, 6lb braid and 10lb leader, oh and the atomic prongs worked magically as always.

I was stoked to get my firs Jack in around 4 or 5 months but I had never ever pulled 2 Jack in the one session before. Sorry for the overkill of photos, but was pretty happy landing these two descent Jack on such light gear.

    Had an absolute ball

Yeh mate there is a shallow sandbar and a deeper pool with a few solitary rocks sitting at the end of it. So when the tide is running out, the flow and bait travel across this shallow sand bar and eddy around into the deeper pool where the fish sit around a few rocks. This is the same spot I am getting my salmon, barra, flatty, queenies, cod and tarpon from as well. Bl00dy unreal spot

Nice fish Luke. BTW we have the same dog problems. I get out in the middle of the night and yell out at them. Neighbours will then get out of bed and settle them (3) down.

Very nice Luke, would have been fun on the light gear. Don't be surprised if next time you visit the special spot, there are a dozen vehicles following you

You cant drive to this particular location mate and that is why I keep the photos discreet and not give away too much of the back ground. We found this spot a good 6 months ago and have never seen another person fishing there in the last 6 months worth of visits and we have been back countless times
