    Default Jack all

    Hi all
absolute stunning weather this morning had me up early and heading between the lakes to see if i could kick of my jack tally for the season.
i was flicking a clear jackall tranzam along the snags just up from johns landing. my mate and i were greeted by some monster GTs chasing mullet schools didnt take long for me to hook up to a nice 49cm Trev a good fight had me calling jack but that will come.
another 5 minutes later my rods almost ripped out of my hands, first threadie for me and at 79cm i was stoked
my mate managed a jewie and big eye but they were teeny boppers
cant wait for the next trip
    Cheers
    Tim

    Nice work Tim.

Bad luck about the jacks but I would be happy with those!

Good work noted tim. Nice Thready and Trev. What lures/plastics did the damage.

Onya Tim, good to see more threadies around up there after a good 10 years without them.

I wonder if the netters have changed practice?

There's been a lot more than 2 caught spadey this season alone.
They started showing up again last season, looks like they are continuing their comeback.

More interestingly is that how they are diminishing in numbers here in Brisbane River while flourishing up in Noosa....
I go fishing not to find myself but to lose myself...
