    Default First fish on SP

I don't reckon I'm going to break any records fishing where I do- but it's great when things come together.

Have been trying to get a run on the board with SPs for a while now, and finally scored with this Flatty. Not a catch that will change the world- but definetly one that has propelled me into this, tremendously rewarding, style of fishing.

Big thanks to Chris (Spaded) for putting me onto the gear that did the damage: Zman 4" Swimmerz in Red Shad and a TT 1/2 in 5/0 Heavy.

And well done to all the Jaker-Offeres! Looks like a great weekend had by all.
Are there plans for a gallery of pooled photos?

Ha ha.. nah, thought it was a snag for about 0.5 secs, then a thump, a shake and a pull over another other 2 secs.. I'm assuming a Jack would just be smash-o!

So there you go.. the 2.5 seconds that started what'll be hours of cast-retrieve-cast..!
Nah- top fun. Thanks again mate.

Aird went well- Not forking over for Zillions and Steez (just yet).. but can totally appreciate how smooth(er) gear can add to the fun!

Alex, you must have got that one about 10.30 Friday morning - felt the earth move about then, or was that the earthquake in West Papua. Whichever, we evacuated the building! First thought I was still unsteady from the boat trip on Thursday. That's a great Flathead.
