A great weekend away

Hi all,

Just had a great weekend away with Chery, Shane & Ben. Weather was fantastic. Went out Saturday for a 10 1/2 hour flick for none landed. Had a couple of flashes behiond the lures and one reaction strike 6 inches from the bank as soon as the lure hit the water. But jease it was a nice day on the water.
Chewy dropped in to show us around and we did some km in search of the fish and threw our arms off but it just wasnt happening for us. Thanks for showing us around mate we saw some great looking territory and appreciated your help & advice, and thanks to Shane and Ben for a top weekend.
Sorry no fishing picks from me, Shane and Ben may have some to add.
I will put a quick report up about our digs in another section.
Oh I do have 1 pic of a lure attached to something.....

Yeah not alot on the fish sides, I managed a pesky cod... and a couple dropped somethings!
Either way good to be on the water.
Shane managed a nice little silver at the Flame lilly lake, so there was one fish on the board woohoo!
Thanks Chewy for the company Saturday, shame about that cod you dropped... oops Jack as you say...

yes thanks for a good weekend away all , would of been better if we could of got on the water this morning, we hooked the boat on went to Howard and they had the road blocked off between the caravan park and the rail crossing doing road works and told us we could not use the ramp but there was no signage about upcoming road closures the day before

had a quick run up one of the rivers brian had a few hits and dropped a tarpon think today would of been better is we could of got on the water warm night on saturday and friday was cold night
