    Default Few Trips Lately

Been playing in the brissy riv lately chasing jew and threadies. The jew have been super keen with most goin over legal all caught jigging deep. Highlight was a double hookup on 82's for me and benny bout a second apart. Plenty of yahoos and beers followed. Threadfin have been a bit quieter with lots showing on sounder but hard to tempt. Plenty of tasty lil snaps showing up down deep too. Only one sess at a jack lately with a nice fella caught on a zman snakehead combo and a coupla missed bites. Very keen to get back into the reds after chasing flatties the last few weeks, although back down the coast this sunday for the dash for cash flatty comp. Hopefully a quick sneaky for a red at sparrows sat morn.........Cheers. Keith

Very nice Keith, Fished that hole on the northern side of the river last week for 2 hours for nothing. Dead calm, no wind, change at the top of the tide for not a touch. Just like your sounder, mine was showing plenty of fish, but they wern't interested. Tried Z-Mazns, Z-Reks and Squidgie wrigglers. Obviously the difference is in the angling skills

Nice Keith some crackers there. Love the jack!
I see you've gone to a lot of trouble with the boat to get a stubble holder at the back!

    Shields gotta be comfortable mate.
Gazza I hate the tide change mate an hour either side depending on the size of tide is the go. It runs bugger all over there anyway. Try the spots that cop the strong currents around the change

Now, I'm not saying we should invoke capital punishment for Stupidity, but how about we just take all the warning labels off everything and let nature sort itself out?
