    Default Fickle day

Headed out this morning at 4:30am with my mate from Melbourne. Mick (Selfy) was out in the same spot with his young fella Jake again. Old mate with the non floating yak didn't attend
Very similar tides and winds however a completely different result. 1 bream for the first few hours was all we managed. Decided to head over towards the weed beds near Bells and finally hooked up to a nice fat flatty. The big girl went 68cms but very weighty. I didn’t have a brag mat so paddled the 500 odd meters back to Micks boat and he kindly threw it on the brag mat for me.

Headed back over the weed for a while longer but once I scored a toady I said bugger it!! No more fishing till next weekend now.

Luv that photo of the sunrise Funchy, what a cracker shot .

Shame about the lack of fish though, but apparently some professional fisho in a Yak down that way has been cleaning up the resident population of flat ones.
    Cheers

Looking at the pic at the bottom, to me it looks like a Stargazer, not a toadfish! But from the angle, I could be wrong.
