    Now that is a question I'd don't want to give to much thought too. As you say the first one cost a fortune, $10000, that's not out of the question. After that they do get cheaper, but still in the hundreds/ fish. And then we release them.

    Jacks are cheap as chips when compared with Billfish...and my boat is only 14.5 feet- Imagine the price per marlin on a 60 footer!

    Now, I'm not saying we should invoke capital punishment for Stupidity, but how about we just take all the warning labels off everything and let nature sort itself out?
