    Default few jacks of late...

    gidday all,

have had 3 trips up the noosa since the jackoff. 2 successful, and the other 1 i didnt get a touch.

first trip a couple weeks ago saw me get hit after about 10 mins of casting. couldnt stop him from getting back in his snag. a 3min 30sec tug of war followed and i finally pulled him out. he went 45cm and equalled my pb!

as the sun fell out of the sky i motored to another spot that we found at the jackoff and started flicking. not a touch till i called last flick of the day and my zman swimmer got smashed! a good battle in the dark and 3 net shots later i pulled in a new pb at 48cm.

yesterday i headed back up in search of more red after a donut last week. only took 3 casts into a snag and i pulled in a 37cm jack. maybe 10 casts later a bit further downstream i was crunched by a much bigger model but pulled hooks after a few seconds.

spent the rest of the arvo trying some different lures and found myself back at the snag that i pulled the jack off earlier. hit the spot lock and gave it a good working over with a zerek shrimp. with about 10 mins of light left i threw on the trusty 4 inch swimmer and it only took 2 casts for it to be smashed. he went off and i thought i had cracked the 50 but got it on the brag mat and went 48cm. a good way to finish the arvo!

really want to try some of the other estuaries on the sunny coast but just cant seem to pry myself away from the noosa. lovin it ATM!

    cheers, aaran.

Love your work Aza, you certainly got that stretch of water sussed out pretty well. Don't worry, I think that 50's not far off
