    Yeah Dids, nice change after all the little jacks Ive been getting. Thats 2 50s for the season, so Im happy with that. They certainly grow legs and fight much harder when they get to 50. This one fought very hard and got back into the snags. I could feel his tail hitting the tree branches as I slowly pulled him out.

    Ive been experimenting with heavy line, and was very grateful for 80lb main braid, and 80lb leader. Hasnt made any change to the bites. I tried 15lb main and 20 lb leader and didnt get any better bites. You still have to put bait or lure right in front of his nose, or he wont bite. Location seems to be the only factor. I have started using berley again, that seems to help.

    This one caught on run in tide, about an hour before high.
