    Default After work flatty fix..

G'day, forgot to post this up last week, but I ventured down to Jacobs well after work one day to teach my uncle how to fish for flatties with plastics.
Google mapped a place that looked alright, nice inlet channel with good looking sandy banks either side. We got there just after the turn of the tide as it began running out. Perfect!
It wasn't to long before I nailed a 50cm, followed shortly after by a 48cm. They both took a Zman 4" Streakz curly tail on a 3/0 1/4oz headlockz. Some fun on the 4lb gear
Unfortunately my uncle didn't manage one, but he got his technique down pat, so I don't think his first plastics flatty is far off!
I was pretty happy with the quick arvo flick at new ground. Rock on this week....

Best invention since coffee mate. Love them! Saves trying to superglue them and melting the faces off the zmanz lol

Yep, turned out it wasn't a lucky day for the first one ate him that evening, beautiful!
I figure I hadn't kept a fish in near a year, had a craving for some flatty lately Although I must admit, the more I get into fishing, I am developing such a respect for fish these days, I am finding it harder and harder to kill them, I have gotten soft lol

Mate, i have been field testing some of the headlockZ for Justin, and with all the fish we caught yesterday, high speed spinning etc,i never had one plastic fall off. The hooks are quite thick, but sharp,so take a bit more to penetrate but super strong. We are currently trialing some in the smaller sizes for 2.5" GrubZ too. Same deal, they dont fall off. It surprised me that even though im pretty crap at rigging them, even taking the plastic on and off a few times to get ti straight, they stayed on just as good. I think most people on here know if i didnt think they were any good i wouldnt plug em. i will still probably use the normal tournament heads for ultra light, just so penetration isn't an issue. Hope that helps.
