    Default Danger in the passage

    Went out yesterday for a look around the passage and try for a few fish with no luck at all. Headed down to the narrows to find some of the channel markers have been snapped off right at the water line making them very hard to see given the water colour. Just thought I'd let people know at they would make a real mess of any hull.

    Thanks for that.
    Had a dash in the passage yesterday as well. Picked off a nice Flatone for tea, and a couple of kilos of small Banana prawns, couldnt get a legal buck muddy to save my life.
    Water at Donnybrook end brown, but workable if desperate for a fish, which I was!

    hey guys i would like to add to parkys post in regards to hidden dangers.
    The markers up past the highway bridges in the pine river have moved quite a bit. The one up around the castle hill bend in particular had moved a long way from where it should be.
    Quite dangerous as that wreck is not far from poking out on a low tide.
    Could make a real mess of your tinny or outboard.
    Also noticed this morning the 2 markers off margate beach boat ramp have shifted a long way south.
    I wonder when they will fix these ..

    For all concerned, there has been a Mariners Warning Posted regarding quite a number of navigational aids missing or moved around the Redcliffe Penninsular.
