IT's ALIVE IT's ALIVE! Finally my bowmount is back to life.

My bowmount has been sitting at the tacklestore waiting for parts for the last 2 weeks. After changing the speed controller and the seals turnouts it was the plug for the pedal.. Big shout out to watersnake for supplying free parts for an out of warranty leccy!

I figured I had to test it this weekend even though it was going to be hectic on the water. I loaded the boat on the car at 4:15 on the water for a couple hours untill around 7am. I sounded around a little jack hole I like to hit with a good show of bait and a thick line right underneath them. So casting away and *thud* ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ... Fish on! Was a bit hectic trying to net this fish in the dark as my headlamp was just about dead but netted him third time lucky.





I moved onto another spot and sounded up a nice school of tarpon so I had fun playing with them for the rest of the morning. They were pretty fired up hooking up or getting hits nearly every cast just a matter of landing the bloody things.




All in all a nice morning with a fair bit of traffic around will be a busy weekend!

Very nice Adam, great session. Great looking jack - with this warm humid weather and storms predicted for Sunday, could be an interesting, last chance jack attack before things start to cool off a bit.
