    Default Pike where abouts

    Hi All just wondering if anbody has come accross some pike this season either while boat fishing or yakking mainly thinking of the redcliffe or northside areas my spot is barron this year at the moment for some reason they have not come in yet any heads up would be a help thanks
    just might save me a few miles hunting

    was heaps of them in the Newport canals a month ago, usually hoards of them on scarby
    As with real estate, Fishing is all about Location Location Location

    Two weeks ago i hit a swarm of them on the bommie east of the Klingner Road green bouy. Average about 30cm bar one about 15cm.
    Today i spotted a few on the close reefs near scarby cliffs. around the 30cm mark again.
    I would imagine that Woody Pt Jetty atm would be running with them.

    Yep Woody Point Jetty, sat out there last Monday and watched to old blokes pull in about 30. They were using orange wool on small hooks jigging along the side of the jetty out towards the end

    Stacks of hardies getting harassed at shields last Sunday arvo, should be pike ther mate, they were on the inside edge

    Can't help you on the northside Shane but we caught dozens this morning at Goat...big 'uns too!
