    Default friday night diamonds....

    G'day All, Ducked out with Chris again last night hoping for a shot at some stonker breambo's and a possible jewie.Plenty of bream about but ol silver ghost evaded us this time.With only a flathead and a couple of bream to our tally the fishing was getting pretty tough and hook ups were becoming harder to come by.We were going to call it a night but decided to go and try 1 last spot and see if there was any action there.Good thing we did cause within 5-10 mins I hooked up to a solid fish that took a liking to my Gulp shrimp.Hectic battle in some crusty looking country but got his head turned before he had a chance to rub me off on anything.A few photo's and back he went.Very next cast Chris hooks up,thinking it might be another trevally he gets stuck into it not giving this fish an inch when up pops a nice little estuary cod.Change of spots definitely paid off for us this time and it made for yet another fun little sesh.     Thanks Luke.This is another 1st for me too mate.Hooked 1 a while back on a wait for it......3 inch prong lol but opened the little jighead up and lost him at my feet.Awesome looking fish for sure.

    ripper diamond mikey with a few tense moments in there trying to land it around those oyster ridden pylons

    they are funky looking fish & now on my 'to catch' list
