    Default different day

went out for the first time for ages up into the fresh at pikes crossing getting the boat in below the crossing was an interesting affair but after getting in the river it was completely different since the floods ,used atomic prongs and basstrix placcies for one small fish .dropped a few more in the tight sticks .the water is still very dirty so bright colors seemed to work better the second pic is from a fishi found sunbaking in the shallows yesterday, i tied on a jighead and treble .dropped it over the fish and waited for the line to get close ,ripped it up and all hell broke loose ,I hooked it in the tail ,trying to land a big fish over a mtr by the tail is a prob I pulled the hooks after a couple of lightning runs ended up with a nice scale for the thrill ,beautiful day again

mate when they are like that they are too cold to feed so they just lay in the warm to get some blood moving ,very frustrating to see them ,you can throw a thousand lures at them and all they do is turn away and move into the deep till you go ,that's why I tried that to have a bit of fun lol .
