3rd time lucky

gidday all,

with the predicted 30 degree temps today and a good tide up the noosa i pulled the pin at work and headed up tween the lakes to see if i could get my first jack for the season. i couldnt get a hit in my last 2 trips up so i wasnt expecting alot. got up to my spot about 3.30pm after having a play around with my new sounder. 2 hours passed without a touch again and i was just about down and out.... until my ever reliable zman swimmer was engulfed! i havent caught a jack in about 6 months now and the hit scared the hell out me. will put the vid up tomorrow. its pretty funny. the end result was a healthy 46cm jack. not a bad way to kick the season off! bring on the jackoff!

All advice on catching jacks accepted greatfully Az. But for the yakoff not the jackoff I cant make it there. I am up against the great red fisherman in his aircraft carrier
