Juggling work and family over the long weekend meant that today was the only chance I had to get a fish in. Greg was “grounded” and I wasn't sure if I could be naffed dealing with the hordes at the boat ramp..
I needn't have worried.Traffic was light throughout the day and the sunshine uninterrupted.
Ripping tides made the fishing a bit harder than usual though. Lots of littlies- small Moses Perch and juvie Red Throat. Only one fish boated on the artis (and I threw them all).

I’ve been getting right into circle hooks for the set lines. Great for the smash-and-grab characters when you’re busy casting lures off the bow… but you still have to be quick to avoid a bricking.

Finished off with a bit of a blat around and saw, probably, the biggest croc I’ve seen to date.
You know they run Croc watching Jet Ski tours up here? ..... Seriously.
