    Not that I'd ever knock either back.

    Do you come across many muddies Mick? We pulled an absolute beast out of Brisbane waters about 20 years ago but have never seen another size one in the area...

    i have caught a few muddies from Brisbane waters over the years,but I rarely try crabbing down there these days - no nets or traps allowed and I can't be bothered fishing for them on a line.I mainly caught them up around Kincumber or Erina creek.According to reports in the local papers they seem to be fairly plentiful but I usually concentrate on bream and whiting on bloodworms when I am down there so I wouldn't expect to catch one.If you are up here for awhile after Xmas we should have a session together chasing a few fish.
