I'm Jacked With Jack

This Jack season I've lacked motivation to chase the Red Devils as much as previous years. In the past I've averaged a trip a week or so through the warmer months, but there has been a decline in numbers caught each year that I can only put down to fishing pressure. This summer I've only done 4 trips for 2 jacks. I'm not saying there declining everywhere, as there are good reports elsewhere, just at my Spot X. Time for me to give Spot X a break.
Interestingly, on arrival at the spot to which I refer last night, a pod of 4 dolphins came cruising past with the tide. Now this is a very long way from the ocean, a very long way
