Yep all home in bed. Had to be seen to be believed. Got plenty of crabs. Fishing was hard though, though we only did a couple short sessions.

Yes punters I went for a drive with Shagga on Friday morning and ended up in marybrough so decided to drop in on chewy and Pete Jones who just happened to have skipped out of work at morning tea and were hanging out at the local hungry jacks ( it's a marybrough thing apparently) Chewy suggested we should go for a fish, and it just so happened I was dragging the Polly behind the Paj, so we agreed and before you know it we were in the back blocks of Fraser Island. Funny how things can just happen!
Chewy and Pete found some crab pots that didn't seem to have an owner, so what could we do? Couple of hours latter they had become home to some handsome muddies, we had a fairly unproductive fish and so decided to have some refreshing drinks and make dinner before dark. Now around this time the sand flies and mozzies introduced themselves and decided to stay too. Now did you know that sand flies can go straight through the screen on swags? Mmmmm they can. Shagga and I got about two hours sleep, chewy slept in his boat and hid, Pete had a wiz bang cot with sand fly proof mesh. Do you think the locals knew something?
So next morning we had a crisis meeting, and decided another night was out of the question. Fish were quiet but crabs were on fire. Gods country and Shagga and I will drop in again soon, very soon if I have my way.
Yes Ubk, a Tupperware party, very good. And Shane no bilbies but there were rat things, Chewy said were probably bandicoots but in Brisy we call 'em rats, and little mice that hop on their hind legs like kangaroos, who'd of thunk that?

thanks Pete and Mr Chew. Loved it.

I think we saw you guys, we waved to say hi. Didn't catch anything either but had a barra eat my mullet on the surface. Good to know there was one there though. The sandflies were bloody nasty they drove us out too.
