Take Vitamin B-1 daily for a full week prior to going to a sandlfy area and you will not be bothered by them biting you.....does not stop you inhaling the little mongrels up your nose though.....

Thanks fellas, I'll pop some video up this week of the hair tail. There were hundreds of them. I think they scared everything else off.

Nice work mate. I am also a big fan of blues. Geez they go hard. The sandies and mozzies were pretty bad out Condamine way too. As were the carp. No yabbies around out there even after run off into the dams. Just millions of cane toad tadpoles. I think they are poisoning the bobbies and the yabbies too. bastards of things. Why havent our smart scientists worked out a predator for the toad. Sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread. Great pics. 20140419_055239.jpg

One word for you Chewy - Bushmans! - never go fishing without it. Kept the sandflies away at Green on Monday morning...

    As always, love ya work!

Pete, I used half a can for the morning. In the end I couldn't breathe thru my buff because of it. Made little if any difference. I actually think it was an attractant

Up Chewy's way last weekend, I looked at my foot at one point and thought I must have stood in a mud puddle at some stage , on trying to wipe the mud off I found it was a sold layer of sandflies around my heel. And I had bushmans on!
