Great morning, but a few more flat ones would have been nice. Good to catch up with everyone...

We struggled until the turn of the tide and ended up with three boated (46cm, 40cm and 53cm) with a much bigger one dropped boatside. Our score was 139...

Thanks guys for a top morning competing in the Flatty Forage today.
Was great to meet you all and look forward to some more events in the future.

My little barely legal throwback flatty.

Raef's winning flatty for the largest fish for the event.

We found all of our fish (several small throwbacks that were undersized as well) in very shallow water and managed to see several really big flathead bust out near the boat.
It didn't matter what we did really, nothing stood out as a winning formula today.

    Congrats to all the winners.

Thanks to Dids and Pete putting on the sausage sizzle after the event. A really nice touch for the day.

    Cheers.

Ah - just recovering from my nanna nap. Getting too old for these early mornings.

Thanks for the congratulations and adulations that go to the champions - even though it was never in doubt. Caught a keeper on the first cast of the morning then put the cue in the rack and let Shane do the heavy lifting. The winning fish

And I will endorse the other comments. Good day for fishing, good to see the guys again and good to meet some newies.
