Hi i dont know how many times i have recieved a call from mates asking me to look up fish sizes and what they look like and get back to them with the info. And to be truthful i have done it myself.
I was browsing facebook the other day and QLD fisheries had an add up for an APP called Qld Fishing i uploaded it for free on my Ipad and it has a photo, sof fish there size limits closed seasons and green Zones and rules ect i highly recommend this and if you know of others please post up for all to enjoy

Im having trouble with the Qld Fisheries app, it keeps stopping and plays up on my iphone.

The Fishing Mate app is better for locating green zones.
The Ramp Finder app is handy for Qld ramps.
Navionics app is still the best as a backup to gps.

I had a peek at the QLD one - not long enough to know if it would have problems on my phone. But will revert to it when I head North again.
    I think it's a great idea!
I wish NSW fisheries did similar.
Normally in a pinch I will try to lookup the website - but its hard to navigate on the phone, and don't always have coverage.
