    G'day mate,

I've seen footage from the GoPro and the Contour as well as images from the Shimano action cams (mounted on bikes). All of them have produced great footage. Depending on what you are looking for i know that some have better slow-motion images than others but I'm no expert. I suppose slow-motion would be great for the surface action.

    Cheers

    Chris

Biggest thing I find with my Gopro is the limited battery life if you start filming from the start of a session.
Battery Backup gives me 4.5 hours recording at 720p.
Next one will have bluetooth and bluetooth wrist band I think.

In the boat I would like to find a devent vid cam that can run off 12v dc mains.....
