Jew and barra?

Hey everyone just wondering if many people had come across XOS Black jew in estuaries among the barra? Sounding up barra and notice big blobs tight to the bottom, didn't think much of it until someone posted a pic of facebook of a 138cm Black jew near where I've been fishing, anyone had the same thing happen?

Most definatly mate. While I lived in mackay I used to get black jew, fingermark and barra while live baiting the marina, Few of my haunts down in the south I fish for barra hold big amounts of silver Jew at times which I believe are a good food source for barra, I have had a few trips where there are mulloway poking about with barra aswell.

Yeah I've always done well in the harbour for them, I've been going to some creeks and that's what I'm seeing in the holes, really muddy water and 10-12m deep, must be big jew I think
