Thanks for a top day. Was a bit of fun and good way to end my tour of duty on the sunny coast as i headed back to Gympie the next morning. Only one small flatty from the yak unfortunately. Dropped quite a few more which was dissapointing. Shallow water fishing requires more finesse and i didn't have it with only an hours sleep and spending nearly the whole day on Friday on the water. Good to meet folks and put faces to names. Looking forward to the next one and hopefully I'll be a bit more sociable

A good day on the water and was really nice to put a few faces to names. Some of you need to fix your profile pics though, I was expecting a much better looking lot!
My highlight was a 50cm Tarpon that put on a nice aerial display if only I knew before hand we were targeting flathead........
Well done Funchy on another great outing for the lads. Great report also. Wished I could have made it. Next time I hope.
Again, congrats to Shagga and Dids, it must have been the "SHAGGA" factor that got you over the line Dids, we only managed 2nd place last time LOL.
Bring on Flatty Forage 3.
Cheers

Thanks to Funchy for organising a great morning on the water. It was good to put a few faces to names. For those wondering total length of the nine flatties boated was 360cm. Here are a couple of pics from the day.
