    Default last night in the Nerang

    Having today off I thought I'd give it a shake last night and headed up the seaway with dozen left over mullet from last trip.

    Out go's two lines and i start the waiting game. An hour in and the drag starts to tick over, not real fast just a couple of feet at a time... I quickly got the other line in and picked up the rod and could feel a bit of weight there... straight away I thought stingray and I wasn't wrong, big prick of a thing. His weight and using the tide didn't make life easy but I finally got him boat side, confirmed my first thought of a ray and cut the leader...

    Right on high, around 9.30pm moved over to the pipe where there was another 6 boats and didn't get a touch, I sounded over the pipe and could see schools of something, probable trevs but not takers.

    After 30min the tide started to pick up again so moved back to my spot near the marina's.

    Just as I was thinking this is going to be another donut this guy drops by to say hi...




    30min later this big whoa did the same... I really thought it was a monster jack.



    I hung around for another few hours and by 4.30 had enough and headed for home.

    (all fish were released)
    someone told me the other day that there are more important thing's in life than fishing, to which i replied..... what?

    Then I got nuthin cause I'm using Chrome and I can see them!
