    Default Bay Snap

Hi Guys, I haven't been on much lately sorry. I have been doing too little fishing, and too much lure making and spending too much money on collecting old lures.

Anyway, hit the bay yesterday after hearing some good reports. Only got one, but it was an ok one. Got it on 4" Gulp grub on 1/2Oz Nitro stealth head, 14/14 gear, nearly got spooled, had to start the motor and give chase. It was a long fight, and I was extremely lucky not to get rubbed off. It went 83cm , 6kg neat, new pb by 1cm.

    Cheers,

    Matt

A lovely fish Matt - well done. Southern bay?

well done on the PB Matt.
Brave man using 14lb leader. I used 12 for a fair while but got sick of being dusted by big fish. 20 lb now.
