Good feed today at the Bay

Urangan Pier is pretty easy for squid, just jig a few lifts next to each pilon will find them.
Urangan Harbour is another land based spot worth a try for squid if it is too windy for the boat.
Look for the cleaner water there preferably in the lee of a rock wall.

Call into Redcliffe on your way home Baz and you will get up to about ten squid for a session landbased.
I will give you some good spots to try if you want.

Didn't have a lot of luck today but at least i got a couple, still a bloody lot better than where i will be next week..Finished up with a just legal Grunter, a legal Flatty, 1 small Queenie, 1 bream & a Sicklefish or at least that's what i think it is which went like the clappers on my little 1-3kg rod..Rhonda didn't like it much because she can't handle casting & flicking Plastic's but i had fun.

Nice Baz, some good memories to take back to Inverell and think about while your freezing your you know whats off. All good things must come to an end. Maybe 3 months next year and avoid the winter altogether.

Now about that Grunter, what's your secret, when I chase them I catch Threadys. Just one over the side of the boat would be nice so I can tick it off the bucket list
