    The tide wasn't the best, on the turn soon after we got out there (things you have to put up with because your fishing mate want to work)but we got about 6 when there was some movement in the water. She was a lovely old girl, mind you at one stage he swore it was a bloody stingray, it gave him a great fight on 6lb line and 8 lb leader, she went back and swam away after a couple of quick pics. I still had to provide the one for his dinner though

    Nice one. I was thinking about having a crack down that way tomorrow if the wind backs off a touch as predicted. I heard there has been plenty down Toorbul way, might battle through the sand banks and head down there from Caloundra end.

    Good luck with that Jeffo, hopefully this bit of rain doesn't put them off again. Seems they shut right down after we had continual downpours since Xmas. They seem to be really coming back on the bite.
