change of plans work sometimes

went for a walk early this morning with little lady looked out on bay ,turned around went home and put boat on and out for a fish.started around picnics for a nice cod then a few trevs.onto some drop-offs only to look behind to see a tuna school slurping tiny bait of surface ,these are painful when feeding like this but went over anyway..found some small flickbaits in bag tied on a 1/4 ounch jighead ,burned it thru them and came up tight handed the 4kg oufit to shaz and she had a ball fighting it ,landed 2 more this way before heading back to flatty fishing ..what happened in next 2 hours was amazing.landing over 30 flatty to 70cm .all fell to 3 inch berkley shrimps.on way out from flats saw what I thought was a row of sticks but on closer look it was about 20 big squid..topped of a brilliant day

conditions stayed like that for hours too bloody good lol ,fish came on when wind caused a bit of ripple on water
