Never fished for feet fish before, you catch it on a slow roll or twitch and pause, how was the fight, would have went pretty hard I guess. What lure did the damage

Gaz - high speed retrieve is required as feet generally feed on the surface. Was a good solid hookup, not much of a fight really... took a few hours to release though.. 40g slug is all you need!

PFFFT....... Snodge, we know its a Foot, 12in or 30.48cm. The problem we would have is to ID this critter and the see if it's a legal size.
As for a ID, got me stuffed. My only guess would some sort of Soleidae.
