    Typical with nth qld you have to learn to fish with the wind......it doesnt get much of a spell from it ever.

    Friday is down, Saturday is up again. Just have to work out how I can take a flex when I have medical appointments over the next 2/3 weeks and in 4 weeks I am on 7 months leave.

    There are sections along the rocks where you can catch barra. You must stay 400m from the weir.

    During the run out/run in tide you can walk the flats between arrows and catch flathead, queenfish, trevally and barra. At the star was a never fail tidal creek for flathead. Sandfly central the only downside.
