Default A wet day's outing in Fitzroy

Went down the river this morning before the rain really set in.

Got 4 fish totalling 1.92 metres. Average of 48 cm per fish.

    All released.

    Here we go.

Occasionally you hear of big bream but usually as a 1 off catch.

All 4 were caught on a 5/0 hook with a full pilchard.

There are a lot of big bream in the Fitzroy. Also big threadies.

Maybe now that the nets are gone we'll see some interest for one of the bream tournament guys. They won't be disappointed in the Fitzroy.
