Default What a shit of a day!!

Out of bed at 3am, launch at 3.30am.
3 hours sleep didnt help much but i persevered until 8am when i got my first bite......a 30cm catfish on a 4" soft vibe. Great I thought.....or didn't.
Next fish was at least an hour later, a flatty about 30cm (my biggest for the day). Three more flatties all smaller visted me over the next few hours.
Come 12pm i decide I will fish to the next bend in the river and call it quits.
150m from the bend i get a bump resulting in this...

In the esky with you fella.
Tide has pushed me another 50m closer to the bend so i flick the lure back out.....3 flicks and this happens......20160813_115420.jpg
Went for the release of the second thready after a 30 second visit on board for unhook and quick photo and he went belly up.....tried for over 20 minutes to get him to swim but he wouldn't stay upright. He joined his mate in the box.

Two more casts resulted in two more dropped fish and i reached the bend and went home.

good stuff tony. I gotta stop getting drunk and go fishing.
Dad reckons fishing is 10% brains and 95% muscle, the rest is just good luck.
